Lettera dal Vicepresidente e dal Segretario Amministrativo della EFP

A causa della epidemia in corso, si è deciso di cancellare il New Member Seminar (NMS) in programma dall’11 al 14 Giugno, e il Newly Qualified Training Analysts Meeting del 4-6 Settembre, ritenendo che per problemi di privacy non possono essere tenuti on line. Coloro che avevano già versato la quota di partecipazione al primo seminario (NMS) verranno rimborsati, e godranno di priorità per l’iscrizione all’NMS del 2021.

Si è invece deciso di non cancellare il Forum on Education. Se non potrà svolgersi in presenza, si terrà on line almeno per la parte teorica, e comunque riceverete maggiori informazioni più in là.

Small Conferences in 2020

Dear Presidents,

Dear colleagues,

Due to the pandemic situation we are facing worldwide, the members of the EPF Executive have decided to cancel the projected New Members Seminar (June 11-14) and the Newly Qualified Training Analysts Meeting (September 04-06). These two small conferences, centered on the clinic, cannot be held online for confidentiality reasons.

We deeply regret being forced to take this decision, but as a federation we feel responsible for the prevention of health risks for our attendants to both events.

The N.M.S. fees already paid by the participants have been refunded. Meanwhile, all the N.M.S. participants who registered this year are automatically placed on a waiting list for the New Members Seminar which will be organized in 2021. Concretely, it means that these registered participants of this year will be invited for next year and they will be accepted in priority.

For the NQTAM, the new team of moderators (Martina Burdet, Joëlle Picard, Tomas Plaenkers) have met, and worked to think about the current situation and organize the next meeting on 2021.

However, we maintain the Forum on Education. If we cannot keep it “in praesentia”, we are considering the possibility of working online at least for the theoretical part. It is still too early to decide, but we are working on it and will keep you regularly informed.
