Attraverso vari materiali – foto di Sigmund Freud e dei suoi familiari e amici, foto d’epoca di Vienna e Roma, vignette disegnate ad hoc, immagini reperite in rete a variamente manipolate – viene narrato l’appassionato e complesso rapporto di Freud con la città di Roma, per come emerge da suo epistolario e dai suoi scritti scientifici.

This video (in Italian and in English) was produced on the occasion of the inauguration of the Sigmund Freud Garden in Via Lisbona, in Rome, on the 21st of May 2011. The passionate and complex relation between Freud and the city of Rome – as it stems out from his correspondence and scientific writings – is narrated and illustrated with different iconic materials: old photos showing Freud, his family and friends; views of Rome; ad hoc cartoons and public domain pictures and videos variously reworked.
